This notice explains what personal data Petview collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to information you submit through petview.co.
1. Who we are
Petview is a UK-based data and insights platform for the pet speciality category. The data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR is Petview Ltd, registered in England.

2. What data we collect
We only collect the information you actively submit to us through the contact form on petview.co:
- Your name
- Your company name
- Your work email address
- Your role (optional)
- The message you write
petview.co uses no cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party trackers. The contact form is the only mechanism by which Petview receives personal data through this site.
3. Why we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry and to discuss potential commercial relationships with you. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR Article 6 is legitimate interest. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Where it is stored
Form submissions are received via Netlify Forms and stored on Netlify infrastructure. Once read by Petview, submissions are also retained in our internal records, which are held in the United Kingdom and protected by industry-standard access controls.
5. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data for as long as it is needed for the conversation it relates to, and for up to 24 months after the last contact, in case of follow-up. After that, we delete it. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. The only third parties that may have access to enquiry data are:
- Netlify, our hosting and form-processing provider, as a processor only
- Any party we are legally required to disclose it to
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to how we are processing your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

8. Cookies and tracking
petview.co uses no cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party trackers. The only personal data we process is what you submit through the contact form.
9. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will also note them in our reply to any active enquiry.
